Island Archives

at the University of Prince Edward Island

Welcome to Island Archives

Island Archives is a program which aims to provide online access to the recorded history of Prince Edward Island.

Hosted by the Robertson Library at the University of Prince Edward Island, the knowledge here was gathered in partnership with community groups, organizations, and individuals. Projects have been supported by the University of Prince Edward Island, with grant funds from a variety of organizations, and the generous financial support from a number of individual donors. Launched in 2010, Island Archives uses Islandora, a community-run open-source software project that was created at the University of Prince Edward Island.
